Masquerade ball

My cousin told me: “It recalls me Venice”.
Of course it is - it is the original Venetian masque.
But actually I wanted to create a medieval carnival atmosphere, not necessarily Venetian one: books with poems (Shakespeare?), flute, light gray lights of early evening. Cheery and mysterious night is coming to us…

P.S. and...IFFF you wanted to ask about “Eyes Wide Shut” by Stanley Kubrick – I have NOT being thinking about this movie!

  1. This painting is great from both an intellectual and esthetic points. It's a nice idea compare white mask with white decoration and white paper. Shades on the decoration and red-black hat add secret and tragic note to work.

  2. This not a movie, this is the song:
    ".....
Whatever happens, I'll leave it all to chance
    Another heartache, another failed romance
On and on, does anybody know what we are living for ?
I guess I'm learning (I'm learning learning learning)
    I must be warmer now
I'll soon be turning (turning turning turning)
    Round the corner now
    Outside the dawn is breaking
But inside in the dark I'm aching to be free
    The show must go on
The show must go on, yeah yeah
Ooh, inside my heart is breaking
    My make-up may be flaking
But my smile still stays on...... "
