Nostalgia

Media: oil colors on cutting boad

© VANESSA STASHINSKI 1990

Not for sale.

This painting, dated around 1990 is not for sale ever.
I publish it here just to make a short break from parade of poinsettias.
All the objects on this paint has a sentimental background. Flowers and berries, that mark October, or maybe late September, white lines - from babe's wardrobe and glass - it's from grandma's storage, saved from early 20th of 20th century, or maybe even earlier.

    1. Thank you :-)
Now it's really old - more then 20 years passed since painted. I keep it. It's kinda memorable now.

Touching, elegiacal, and nostalgic. Is it really painted on cutting board? Don't say you cutting tomatous on it! Do you? :-o

    1. Hahahaha .. oh no, do not worry Kelly! I'm not cutting tomatos neither cucumbers on it. It's really painted on wooden cutting board with oil colors, varnished and it saved in our art-storage in proper conditions. Thank you very much for "touching" :-) . Cheers, V
