TODAY my travelling duck appears at homepage of "An Apple a day" art project! If you late and missed the date and it already changed (because every day another apple updated), you always can visit "The Apples" list, where whole apples collection appears.
Some words about this project: here is the guy from Netherlands - his name is Michel, he created and he keeps ‘an apple a day.nl’. He thought "...it would be nice to see how other artists would draw apples, and somehow make a collection of this."

Size is 36x36cm explains what is painted area about - if you would like to cut it tight for square frame. The actual size of the picture is 60x42 cm, with wide blue fields from both sides. When you will frame - these blue fields can be cut wide or tight - depends of proportion that fit your personal taste and propose.

Rustic with Corn Bread

Not AvailableYou see - I continued with garlic theme.
First it was planned to be one more short-term still life: trio of garlic fists and their sophisticated shadows, nothing else. Then I baked a Corn Bread - I have to admit that it was quite spontaneous. The bread had such a beautiful colors that I wanted to paint it immediately. Still being into the garlic-paint, I didn't want to leave it unfinished and switch to another one; so I decided to combine two in one. Oh, it was not great idea, not at all, because colors didn't look like one assemble. I changed and re-painted it for about six (!) times, until I felt that I can accept it. The final version is here - may be not the best one, but at least it done.
